We all know communication is important, but we tend to take it for granted. Or we tend to think, talking is enough, I reckon. Listening is also part of communication. I reckon, it has to be two way. Questioning might be a good way to have two way communication, but don't make it too hard of a question, eh?
Watching head coach going around during practice and chatting with players, about nothing, or about tactics for tomorrows game or whatever, little things like that helps build trust, understanding, and open line.
It was a good example of what coach should be doing.
