MOMENTUM

In a game of rugby, football or grid iron, scoring just before the half time is crucial. Whether the score line is 1-0, losing 0-1 or nil - nil. Huge momentum swinger, I reckon. I was able to experience it first hand today. We were leading 1-0 to a top calibre team. And that is what really eats me. We let them get back to the game and in the course of the game, we allowed them to finish the game. We smelt blood, but we weren't able to finish it off. Call it young team or lacking of the depth, but still....... I don't have a good come back. CRAP!!
tough pill to swallow but, this is life. One of my mentor mentioned to me about momentum and said something like, "We build momentum and we have to seize that momentum and capitalize that opportunity when it arrives." I guess we all know now what happens if we don't. I don't have to spill it out do I?
By the way it was first away game of the season at Kobe. I've been to Kobe with the rugby team I once translated for (I was a team translator) But today was at a different venue.
@Kobe Universiade Stadium. This is where 1985 World Collegiate Games were held. It was cool to see some of the memorabilia. A Chinese women B-ball team player wore size 42 cm shoe, I reckon it's about the same size at SHaq!! whowa!! Too bad I don't have the pics to show for it. Well, we lost so, didn't feel like taking pics.
